AWARDS AND TITLES
At the tender age of seven years Nagamani won the first prizes in Classical Vocal, Drama, and One-act play at the national level competitions at Mysore. At an age eight Nagamani performed at Sahakara Bhawan at Mysore. The exponents of Carnatic music who witnessed the concert were spell bound and remarked that this prodigy would win more laurels and awards than anyone in the field. True to their prediction awards, titles, and citations have followed Nagamani Srinath all through her career.
